Writer-Editor As an entertainer who specializes in humor and having a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, I have had a variety of creative writing jobs that demanded combining my understanding of motivation with an ability to communicate an educational message. As a storyteller, I have produced two audiotapes of original stories: “The Chocolate Chip Cookie Boy” As a consultant, I have worked with trainers of computer programmers for American Family Insurance on how to "jazz up" dry text materials (documentation). As a former academic and professor, I have assorted articles included in “professional” publications including The Reading Teacher, The Journal of Reading, & The Journal of Learning Disabilities.
